When I first started out in the photography business, I shot fashion. I do miss watching the transformation from the regular woman that entered the studio into the glamorous bombshell. All the pampering and preening, the hair being curled, straightened or teased. The rainbow of colors in the little pots of eyeshadow, the endless variations of skin tones in the foundations. I love watching the make-up artists work on their live canvas, enhancing the beautiful features and downplaying the rest. Wouldn’t most women enjoy all the attention? Doing something that makes you look good and feel good and then to top it off with pictures to remember that feeling?
I contacted one of my favorite make-up artists, Rachel and brought one of my friends in for a session. We had a great time creating some fun, glamorous shots. I also included a ‘before’ shot for fun.
