Maternity photography

This mom to be came in on her own for her session. Not too unusual since I have done maternity photography sessions with single moms, with moms who’s husband’s work schedules don’t allow them the time and also for moms to be whose partners just aren’t into having their picture taken. Unfortunately this father to be is in the services and is posted overseas, he won’t even be allowed back once the baby is born until the baby is a few months old. I can’t imagine how hard that must be for him to have to live this whole experience second hand, nor can I imagine how hard it would be to go through the pregnancy on her own when there is definitely someone she would love to be sharing it with. That’s commitment.

Hopefully the pictures we took during the maternity photography session will share some of the joy, love and the way the ever expanding belly looks.
