Maternity Photography NYC

This lovely couple agreed to be in a little video I’m having made to give people an idea of what goes on in both a newborn photography session and a maternity photography session. It was pure coincidence that the mom to be loves aqua and white, the colors look great with my logo :). We used the aqua and white in the maternity photographs and we also discussed using the same colors for the newborn session. The couple is expecting a boy so the aqua will work nicely. Aqua also works really well for newborn baby girl photographs, since it is a modern neutral, it can also be girlied up by adding pink if you’re concerned about people having some gender confusion.

It was a gorgeous, sunny day so we took advantage of the daylight streaming into the studio with some lovely, backlit maternity photography. I love the clean, bright look and it looked fantastic with mom to be’s blond hair.

These pregnancy photographs turned out really well and I can’t wait to do their newborn photographs. Mom and Dad were so wonderful and natural together, I’m sure their newborn pictures will be just a beautiful.
